Certified Nutrition Coach | Wellness Writer | 15 Years of Experience
Hi, I'm Jane Quist. My path into nutrition wasn't conventional—it came through my own health struggles and a deep desire to understand why conventional approaches weren't working.
Fifteen years ago, after years of yo-yo dieting and feeling exhausted despite following every "healthy" trend, I decided to study nutrition scientifically. What I discovered changed everything: the answers were simpler than the industry wanted us to believe.
I earned my certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and later specialized in sports nutrition through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). But honestly? The most valuable education came from working directly with clients over these 15 years.
Today, I help people cut through the noise and find sustainable eating patterns that actually work for their lives. No extreme restrictions. No expensive supplements. Just evidence-based nutrition that honors your body's needs.

After 15 years and thousands of clients, here's what I've learned: the best nutrition approach is the one you can sustain. It needs to fit your life, your preferences, and your values—not the other way around.
Every recommendation I make is backed by peer-reviewed research. I don't jump on bandwagons, and I won't tell you to eliminate entire food groups unless there's a compelling reason to do so. Nutrition science is nuanced, and I respect that complexity.
I don't believe in "perfect" eating. I believe in consistently making better choices than the alternative. A nutrition plan that can't survive a busy week, a vacation, or a stressful day isn't a plan—it's wishful thinking.
Nutrition doesn't exist in isolation. Sleep, stress, movement, and social connections all influence how our bodies respond to food. I help clients see the bigger picture rather than obsessing over individual nutrients or meals.
Quick fixes create quick rebounds. I help clients build habits that compound over years, not weeks. The goal isn't to look good for summer—it's to feel great and maintain independence and vitality for decades.
